Don't Buy a Haunted House! Top Five Ways to Tell If a House is Haunted!

Hello and thank you for reading my article,

As a Spirit Hunter/Paranormal Investigator for many years I am able to walk into a house and immediately tell if a house is haunted by second nature.I would like to share the top ten methods I use to know if a house is haunted. I have seen many families and business tortured and tormented by hostile spirits. Although I am usually able to solve the problem after the fact its a lot easier to be able to prevent it before you even make a purchase.

5. Unexplained Noises- Although you may be just taking a tour of the place try your best to find a quiet place and listen carefully. Most of the time you have to be used to the normal noises the house makes in order to really know if its unexplained or not. You can try asking the current homeowner what a noise you heard is, if they can tell you right away with no hesitation odds are its normal.

4. Feeling of being Watched/Touched- The Feeling of being watched is one of the most common feelings you get when spirits are being present. Sometimes it can be very intense. You can also sometimes feel something brush past you or even a poke, push or tug.

3. Strange or Unusual Smells- You can often notice a sudden waft of perfume or cologne that is unexplained. I've also experienced many odd odors such as a pie baking in the oven, or more appalling odors with no explanation. Once again if you don't know the house and its usual smells ask the owner.

2. Cold Flashes- The #1 most common sign of spirits being present is a sudden drop of temperature. Many describe it as a feeling of someone walking through them. Usually you will get the chills and shiver, and also get goosebumps.

1. Ask the Current Owner and research history of the house- Asking the current owner sounds like a no brainer but a lot of times the owner will not want to tell you because of it preventing the sale. You may have to be not so straight forward. Either make it sound like you want a house that is haunted (if you can pull that off haha) or make it sound like a joke. "This place is pretty old where is Casper's room?" If the current Owner is reluctant try your best to do your own research on the house and the land its built on. Can go to your local library and look at the city plans from many years back, and possibly find a previous owner that wouldn't be reluctant about telling you if the place is haunted.
